I am thrilled to find out about some things.
1. There are clip-on curtain rings. It means I can make curtains from any fabric and not worry about making holes for the rings or hooks to hang the fabric on curtain rods.
These rings are sold on Amazon and in Target
2. There is something called hem tape (I should get it) that allows you to finish edges of fabric without using a sewing machine. I am pretty good with sewing, but this is a good alternative if I don't have the right color thread, or I don't want to make a trip to a shop, or it's too late in the day or if my machine brakes. At least this is one of the rare occasions when I can use my ironing board and my iron. I know I have those.
